작가는 실재와 허상, 의식과 무의식 사이의 모호한 경계에서 경험하고 느낀 것들을 그린다. 우리가 살아가는 이 세상은 선과 악, 옳고 그름 등 개념으로부터 파생된 분별하기 어려운 가치들이 난무하고 있다. 이런 개념들을 단일한 의미로 분명하게 하려 들면 금방 한계에 부딪히고 끝내 무력함을 느끼게 된다. 하지만 단일한 의미 속에서 벗어나 대립면의 경계에 서서 세상을 조망하면 개념적 사고가 만들어 낸 장벽이 허물어지게 되고, 순수한 감각으로 세상을 관조할 수 있게 된다. 이 과정에서 얻은 순수한 감각과 대립면의 경계에서 촉발되는 모든 것들이 작가의 영감이자 창작 재료이다. 개념이 지어낸 협소한 관념에 매달리는 것이 아닌 모호한 경계 속 짙게 엉기어 있는 감각들에 집중하여 작가만의 방식으로 표현한다. 이렇게 표현된 가치가 세상과 소통하는 고유한 기호가 되었으면 한다.

 The artist explores and portrays experiences and feelings within the ambiguous boundaries between reality and fantasy, consciousness and the subconscious. The world we inhabit is filled with values that are challenging to discern, derived from concepts such as good and evil, right and wrong. Attempting to distinctly define these concepts in a singular meaning quickly reaches limits and ultimately leads to a sense of powerlessness. However, standing at the boundaries of opposing facets, looking at the world from a different perspective, breaks down the barriers constructed by conceptual thinking, allowing for an observation of the world through pure senses. In this process, the pure senses obtained and everything triggered at the boundaries of opposition serve as the artist's inspiration and creative materials. Rather than clinging to the narrow notions created by concepts, the artist focuses on the deeply entangled sensations within the ambiguous boundaries and expresses them in their own unique way. It is hoped that these expressed values become distinctive symbols that communicate with the world.

 재구성이 갈무리되면 언어화를 거쳐 이미지로 형상화 하고 

필요에 따라 연필로 스케치 작업을 하고 디지털로 작업을 한다.”

First, I observe an object or phenomenon from my boundaries and then reconstruct it.

Once I've refined my reconstruction, I verbalize it, visualize it as an image, and work with it as needed.
